The CCHS faculty strives to encourage and equip students to reach their God-given potential in academics, athletics, and fine arts while inspiring them to seek and discover God's plan for their lives.  The CCHS journey begins with the application process!

When To Apply

Coastal Christian High School begins accepting applications on January 1st.  Step-by-step instructions will guide you through the online application process.

Please take a moment to read our Admissions Policy, and feel free to contact our Admissions Director if you have any follow-up questions.

ADMISSION into CCHS…

Coastal Christian High School admits students of any race, color, national origin, or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, or ethnic origin of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, athletics, or school-administered programs.

1. Acceptance Policy

Students must (1) score on grade level (2) complete the application process to be eligible for enrollment, (3) exhibit a desire to grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ, and (4) must have one parent that has professed faith in Jesus Christ and is actively involved in a local church. CCHS has been founded as a college preparatory school; on that basis as an I.Q. score of at least 90 is required for admission. The student candidate also must have a Stanine score of over 3 on a recent standardized academic achievement test. The CCHS Board would like to be able to accept students of all disability levels, but believes it is unethical to accept tuition from families whose students need a level of help that CCHS would not be able to provide.

2. Enrollment Limitations

While we desire to meet every student's needs, CCHS cannot provide enrollment to students whose special education, behavioral, or physical needs exceed our existing programs, services, and staff capabilities. A student may be ineligible for enrollment based on intelligence and or disabilities but will be assessed on an individual basis. Because CCHS is a private school, compliance with IEPs/504s issued by the public school system is not required.

3. Disciplinary Exclusions

CCHS does not enroll students who have been dismissed from other schools or have been in serious disciplinary trouble in a former school.

4. Waiting Pool

A prospective student may be placed in our waiting pool. Parents will be notified if a space becomes available. Acceptance is not based on a first-come, first-serve policy. Acceptance is based on student academic needs, boy/girl ratio, and the administrator’s recommendation.
